Hi all.
I would like to build a new computer as my present one is an antique and can't take advantage of broadband.
I have only installed additiional ram and changed modems.
If anyone thinks my limited knowledge will allow me to build a system, I would appreciate your guidance.
I have read that the Epox 8k5a2 is a good motherboard. As for ram, I don't know which series;2100,2700, etc., to use. I bought a750 mhz (200 system bus) Duron cpu about a year ago, but don't know if it will work with the Epox board.
I would appreciate it if someone would help me with the proper selection of compatible components. I have no idea which sound card, video card, cd writer, case, or power supply I should use. Any advice or suggestions would be a great help to this wannabe builder. Thanks
