Well, he lives in Townsville. Up there at this time of the year there is a lot of rain, thanks to Mr. Monsoon and it makes the streets very slippery. 120KM/hr, in a 1984 Honda Civic, night-time in pouring rain, hit the roundabout, clipped the edge, rolled the car, cleaned up a few street signs, almost brought down a power pole and rolled a few times onto a pile of gravel rupturing the fuel tank.

Nope - the insurance excess in QLD on a driver below 25 years of age is in the order of A$1,500 - cheaper to buy another car ;)
