I don't have a bandwidth limit with my DSL. Used to have one, but they cut it after the competition did the same. I probably download about 15 GB of stuff a month (mostly anime, not pr0n, you sick freaks :p), so that's always welcome.

my isp (optus) has only done this because the largest ISP in aus has increased their download limits to make their plans look nicer. Optus have yet to release details on the new plans comming up. This extra bandwidth is just a go between until they are announced

My ISP also has fair use policy. I was downloading about 15GB a month, but this month I probably slow down to 10GB.
Luckily my speed will go from 1024 to 2048 in about 2 weeks :D

There certainly was but I declined it due to an immenant move I was about to make to an area where cable internet can't be accessed.
