A LAN would be nice, I've just come off a session on Telstra Game Arena with their ADSL users screaming "Farking LAG!!!"... not bad having a 50% lower ping than an ADSL user

I play quite often on GameArena myself... what game though? I have barred CS for DoD2.0 ever since the new DoD was released. Haven't turned back.

Unreal Tournament, picked it up for $19.95 a fortnight ago, haven't stopped playing it (when I get a chance). Like a few other guys on Optus dialup, I am getting better pings to GameArena than the Optus@Home UT server... weird :confused:

But GameArena is better... too many Wiggo's and Andy's with pings of 45ms on the Optus@Home server At least I can beat a lot of Telstra ADSL users pingwise :D

OMFG Slamo, what sort of a connection do you have to the 'net? :eek:

I remember back in 1994 playing DOOM with mates over 14.4Kbps modems, we got lower pings back then!!!
