      you can also bundly it with IE5.5 & Ie6 install or get via windows update - thus I considered it part of the OS

                          I was just funnin'.
                          Actually the reason I was pressured into installing Trillian was because my brother was on AOL. Now that he has passed away, I might as well uninstall it as MSN (which I rarely use anyway) will cover everybody now.
                          Having a cover-all-the-bases IM prog is a fine thing. But with all the AlmostOnLine shenanigans, it's about like trying to keep IE up to date to have the latest version.
                          Not that MSN is much better though:?:
