what happens when u combine 1/2 Kg semtex & a 166 pc

How big do you anticipate the shrapnel radius will be? A pc case sure isn't going to offer any containment or direction to the shock wave from a half kilo of Semtex.

Sandbags. Three rows wide (facing blast area), stacked close together. Stack to taste.

Thick plexiglass (good strength rating, not the plexi that we use for case windows) 1/2 inch thick should do the trick. Two sheets to be safe. For the camera, of course :) Wouldnt want to lose a cam to two or three pieces of shrapnel!

hopefully the blasting will happen in the next couple of weeks, it'll take a bit longer to get hold of the tape thou.

However if it doesn't happen in a couple of weeks we are going up to his place for a weekend and Lan games and we'll do it then (probably early next year)

if it doesn't work out, I'll just get another dead PC and do it again - I've got access to a lot of dead pc's & we have more than enough explosive.

according to our blaster, we are just expecting to find the base plate (tower case) the rest of it should be blown to bits

the blast radius will be fairly large, depends a bit on how much explosive we pack inside.

set her up so that when the speedo hits a pin (say stuck at 60km/h) it finishes the circuit and BOOM!

just put a brick on the accelerator and run. easy as that.
