If ya look at the east coast where the Tropic of Capricorn crosses it at Rockhampton (Queensland) and follow that strip of coast all the way to Melbourne (Victoria), that area of Australia contains 90% of the population with Sydney being the largest center followed by Melbourne and the Brisbane. ;)
