crahes to destop after so long, while playing games??

hey,

Its been happening to me for awhile now. mostyl on bf1942
my gfx temp is 49c when is crashes. And its about 34c at when im doing nothing.

is it a heat problem?or something else. becuz it get very annoying when ur winning the game then with out any notice it crashes.

MEMORY: Kingston 4x 512 pc3200 = 2GB

Yes, heat will cause crashes. Overclocking will also cause crashes. Bad RAM can cause crashes too. There are many things which can cause a crash to desktop, so the best thing to do is to run your system at default speeds (including default RAM timings in the BIOS) and see if it still happens.

No game or application will crash back to desktop by itself, so some part of your setup is failing and crashing back to desktop. My suspicion is that it's overclocking on your system and/or RAM timings.
