    Re: ZOTAC nForce 610i Mini-ITX Motherboard

    I was wondering if the reported power usage of the system under load (225W and idle 125W) was correct as is very high.
    I would have expected the power consumption for such Mini-ITX board (combined with the Intel E8500 - 65W TDP) to be 100-120W under load, and 60-80W idle.

      Also, could you provide details of which boards were used for comparison, as the only details provided were 'Intel G45' and 'VIA Nano'.

        First of all, I am a Zotac employee...
        Regarding the display output, Zotac do offer DVI+VGA dual-display in another similar model "Zotac NForce630i-ITX". Please refer to this URL:

        Zotac - It's time to play - nForce 630i ITX

        Thanks for your interest!

          Small error at that link -- it says 4 SATA ports, but the image shows 2.

          More generally ...
          I hope Zotac updates these to nForce 730i / GeForce 9x00 chipsets PDQ. And in doing so make sure:
          * DL-DVI is supported
          * HDMI over DVI is supported
          * GbE added (even better 2x GbE :-)
          * and another two SATA would be nice.
