  • No-signal monitor

Ok here is the story. When I leave to go out or am not using my comp for say 10 minutes the screensaver will come on. About 10 minutes after that my monitor turns itself off, it has always done this since I bought it to save energy and stuff, and since yesterday I have had to shut down my comp to get the monitor to work again.

Usually i just touch a button on the keyboard or touch the mouse and the monitor will turn back on. But when the monitor turns off and i want to use my comp after returning home it says the FH and FV are both at 0. They are normally set at 46.9kHz and 75.0Hz. My monitor is a Panasonic PanaSync E70 plug and play that is about 5 and a half to 6 years old. It worked fine up till this incident. My video card is a ATI All-in-wonder 9600 Pro.

Hope that gives you enough info to help me out if you can.

    Thanks

    Mike
