Could my psu not be powerful enough? That's what you're saying right?

I think I might've fixed the problem, I just turned off the motherboard monitor and tried dling again, so far, so good.

How does MBM relate to random boots?

scroll up a bit, it's in one of the post. It really seems to have done the trick though. I should've rebooted by now.

Right click My Computer and choose Properties.

            Click on the Advanced tab.

Click on the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.

Under the System failure section, uncheck Automatically restart.

Your computer could possibly be getting a blue screen, and on default...Windows XP will just restart the computer instead of showing the actual blue screen.

Motherboard monitor can make crashes happen. Its done it to me 90% of the time with 3d marks 01&03 and red faction(sometimes). Usually just to desktop though. Do u get a bluescreen of death before the reboot? I tried reinstalling everything as well.

I tested this lots and since turning it off before running an affected program, all is well, not 1 crash since.
              Post back with results.

If that dosent solve your issue, i would also look at your NIC as a culprit, blow NIC's can do wierd stuff like that.

Oh, I thought so, but that seems to be working fine, I don't have connection problems.

Oh, and I know I said this before, or I hope. but I added a 256mb chip of RAM, the same type as my first 256, and I think the problem started happening around then. Should I remove the chip I added see what happens? Or just run a memtest?

I would just run a memtest with both sticks installed. If u get an error, take out one and try with just one in and see what happens
