    Windows Media Player Error

    Anyone here who's expert about Media Player? I have error on Windows Media Player, it can't play anything.

    Its giving an error message saying "This operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected"

    I dont know what pins the windows talking about. I reported it to microsoft.com and the buggers can even provide me with the answer, they just said that you encountered the following error (gave this error) 80040209 but they said they are no lnger available.

    Anyone can me? Thanks in Advance!

    That is a Direct Show error.

    Sometimes, this can be caused by (among other things) use of the Nemo Codec Pack with the wrong options selected.

    Not to say that is the problem, but see if maybe it does apply to your situation.

      Thanks Mr. C for replying appreciate that, but the problem is now solve. I just delete the windows installed on my 2nd HDD (used to be the 1st before i installed the SATA HDD) and that solves the problem.
