Lost CD drive after video upgrade

i just changed video cards from evga tnt2 - to a ati 9000pro some where i lost my CD drives how do i get them back both E & F are gone IM running XP sp1 Thanks

try re-installing the secondary IDE channel

Go to the Device Manager and uninstall the IDE channel that they're on (they should be on the secondary channel) then reboot.

I went to device manger and unistlled both primery and secondary drivers and let windows reinstall still nothing mybe i did it wrong

Check the IDE cable then as ya may have pulled on it and unseated its connection.

thank you that worked should have none i messed up something when you use 10 thumbs to fix something with, now to see if i can get two monitors to work any advise

Go into the display properties and there should be a 2nd monitor shown there, click on it and tick the box that says "extend desktop to this monitor".
