Stupid Bios

My motherboard is equipped with an AMI Bios. It lets me choose the frequency of the ram but there are only 3 options. 100, 133, 166. I have DDR 333. But when I choose 166. Sandra says my memory is running @ 266MHz. Why is this???? Is there a bug in my bios?????????? :lips:

Sandra has its own bugs so don't believe everything that it tells ya but it's also very hard to give proper answers when we don't know what hardware ya usin' (ya can put all ya hardware details in ya sig).

Also, if that speed is Async with the CPU FSB, Sandra may be telling you the CPU's FSB and not the RAM speed, or your mobo, like many others, has trouble running the RAM async
