here's one for ya. I just bought new DVD-RW drive, and when I boot up with it installed... after windows loads.. nothing happens. Thought maby it was PSU?:shrug:

nah, it's not the psu. just check the data and power cables and make sure the jumpers are placed correctly.
hmm, since you brought up the psu, does the light on the front of the drive come on when the PC is powered up? -
does it boot properly when you remove the drive again?Comment

Yea, it was't the PSU. I had the jumper on slave and I already had my 2nd HDD on Secondary Slave..hehe. Switched HDD jumper to master and I booted up and burned DVDs fine:)Comment
