  • No input device or disconnected

Just "completed" my first pc build, well i thought it was, not only to discover this message "no input device or disconnected" on the monitor.
I have the monitor plugged in no joy.
Case lights up, HD seems to come on, cdR turns on, all fans are on, but no joy with anything in the monitor area :S
As you should know the graphics are built in nVidia GeForce6100+410.
I am currently using monitor on machine now,
Any ideas ? Mobo problem ?

Just a shot in the dark but have you looked in the bios to see if the onboard video is enabled? I'd assume that would be the default setting but you never know.

came with case, 400w silent psu.
I dont seem to get response from the LAN port, keyboard when plugged in. Could this be the motherboard, if so ill buy a new one over weekend, got a feeling i didnt install it as safe as i should of, could of shorted it out
