hi help power down

hi can anyone help, computer shuts down but wont power down, tower stays on,anyone evr had this, i think it is something to do with usb as when i disable in bios (via onchip pci device ) all usb and restart the comp it works perfect and powers down till i enable them again,then back to power down problem,medion 3200+ athlon.thanx

Do you use both a USB mouse and keyboard? If not, then try looking for a setting within the BIOS that enables both of these at bootup and only set the one you use. This was a small problem with some older mainboards... maybe fixable with a CMOS Flash?
