My friend's northbridge fan seems to be broken. Is it possible to RMA it in Sweden, or does he have to send it back to the store where it was bought? Or can you email MSI and have them send a new one by mail? If he'll send it back to the store, he'll probably have to wait a couple of weeks just to get a new fan.

If the mainboard is pretty new, try getting in touch with the store and see if they will exchange it for a new one. Some will and some won't, but this would be my first step. If not, then your friend will need to make contact with MSI and ask about their RMA procedures. If its more hassle than its worth, then go ahead and get a new northbridge cooler.Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill
