hi guys i wonder if anyone can help me here i bought a chip 550 be running 3.1 and i never though can i fit this chip on a ga-ma-78gm.s2h motherboard its a small media system thanking you

You post is a bit difficult to decypher but I think you are referring to an AMD Phenom II X2 550 BE and a GA-MA78GM-S2H . Looking at the CPU compatibility sheet for that motherboard I do not see your CPU listed. GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - CPU Support List - GA-MA78GM-S2H (rev.1.0) . Maybe someone else can tell you more. Not too many knowledgeable AMD people on this site it seems. You may find more answers directly from Gigabyte.
