  • New Printer

I'm in the market for a new printer.

I'm wanting a decent quaility print and boarderless printing.

I have no huge need for the copier/scanner option, but if it seems worth it for the price, and the quaility im willing to get it.

I'd like to spend around 300$AU.

If anyone has anythign they would like to say, or any recommendations, etc please go ahead.

Also, are there any brands i should watch out for in regard to catridges (i dont want to have a printer that doesnt get used becaseu the catridges cost some stupid amount)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. :D

I would stick with either EPSON or Canon, and then only those that use ink tanks. Tanks are cheaper than cartridges and you only have to replace the specific color that is running low.
Both companies have good photo quality printers

I'm taking an interest in the following models:

      http://www.scorptec.com.au/index.php?prdid=00010605 (canon mp370)
      http://www.gamedude.com.au/static/pr...t_no=prCAmp360 (canon mp360)
      http://www.scorptec.com.au/index.php?prdid=00009865 (epson CX5300)
      http://www.scorptec.com.au/index.php?prdid=00010196 (lexmark X6150)

It's a bit more than I wanted to spend, i have a special interest in the canon model.

I'm thinking for the price a multifunction is the way to go. Does anyone disagree? Any other printers I should be looking at, multifuction or otherwise.
