Hi every1, Could any body help me . I am only new at this computer game , I have been looking over the net for about 2 weeks now &and the deeper I dig the more boggling it gets.All I am after is a gaming computer for around 1000 bucks AUS. I am leaning towards Athlon 64x2 6000 cpu . Can somebody suggest rest of package. I will be only playing games and surfin the net . Ialready have moniter & kekboard. Any assisstance will be greatly appreciated.

I'd get the ATI HD4870, (or 2) 2 - 4 G ram and asus motherboard

idk how much stuff cost down there but i for 1000 i would get the p45 chipset motherboard with a E8400 and a 4850 ati graphics card. this is the most generic set up and will give the best gaming results and within your budget range. for the psu the 450 watt corsair will do unless you plan on going crossfire later on.
