  • Software Updater Program?

Ever since the demise of Cnet's Catchup program i've been looking everywhere for a similar program or software that will update all your software automatically. Does anyone know where i can find a program like that? I've tried a few programs similar in design already, but none of them were as easy as Catchup or as succesful. Thanks

You might want to check BigFix out http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fil...id,7538,00.asp . Not sure if it will do all that you want it to but it looks like it has the right idea.

Thanks I already have it though. Found that all it does (as far as i can see anyhow) is make sure Windows has been updated (i have Windows updater for that though). Catchup was able to find updates for all kinds of software as well as drivers even those i didnt really know i had. There was one i found today called Versiontracker, but you have to pay for it... I'm kinda looking for freeware or shareware though. Pretty much every other program I've found ends up having you pay a fee to use it.
Just figured someone out there would know of something like Catchup. Especially as it was seemingly such a popular program.
      Ohwell...
