am i supposed to have these many svchost.exe's?? and what's

i was looking through my processes one day and i noticed 5 or so svchot.exe's running and it kind of looks suspicious, am i supposed to have that many?

and sometimes i get this process called blowserver.exe, does anyone know what that is?

Ive noticed the same , wen i seen the thread i was hopin ther was an answer
Cause i read somewhere that some trojans diguise themselves as that

Well, anuything Ive seen wtih XP runs 4-5 svchost.exe, so im 95% positive thats how its supposed to be

as for blowserver.exe I'd run a virus scan, as I've never heard of it being associated with any programs...but that doesn't mean it doesn't belong with a legit program, I just haven heard of it before

also, try this test to see if it is a trojan:

did you search your PC for a file named blowserver.exe?
if a process named such is starting in task manager then it must be there on your HD.
search for the file and if you find it in an unexpected location then you might consider going for an online virus scan.
you can also try a trojan cleaner like The Cleaner.
