hi all

ok, i have windows xp on my box and have installed a second harddrive, in the second harddrive i installed windows 2003 server (which is very fast), when i boot it gives the option to choose the O.S i want to boot on , everything is fine till here. now i have remove the second harddrive from my box and it stills give s me the option of booting from windows 2003 or XP, anyone know how can i removed that? i want it to boot directly to win xp cause windows 2003 is no longer in the box>


i already tried FIXMBR from console with the winxp cd.

type edit boot.ini in run under the start menu and remove the option fo rhte second OS

Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab > Startup and Recovery Settings. Either click a default OS, or Untick Display a Lost of OS's
