  • Dual booting Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP Professional

    Hi Everyone,

I have a question about FAT32 and NTFS. At the moment I have Windows 2000 Server on partition D (formatted with NTFS), and Windows XP Professional on partition C (formatted with FAT32). How come I can still see the contents of D drive with full access if it is NTFS when in Windows XP?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Johnny.

WinXP can see NTFS, so it only makes sence.
Are you trying NOT too see it?
only 9x cannot read NTFS AFAIK.

XP is built from the Windows 2000 platform and support NTFS. It even works best running on a NTFS partition becuase you can use the Security built into NTFS to protect files
