    i know theres a way to add an unlisted exec file in your msconfig to startup whenever your computer starts by going into your c:windows something i believe. only problem is, i dont know where that is...help please. i need directions :)

    just copy the programs exe file you want to start with windows and paste it into your start up folder in documents and settings under your login id.

        the folder is
        C:\Documents and Settings\*user_name*\ Start Menu\ Programs\ Startup

        where *user_name* is the user name in which you plan to login.

          ok, my issue is that i dont even have that folder...it doesnt even exist on my computer :(

          so do i just add the folder to my directory or what?

            I see the start menu folder, now go into that and then into programs and then into the startup folder to drop it in there.

              SmokeyMcPot, follow that /\ path and you will find it. You are only half way there. Open the Start Menu folder and then open the Programs folder. You will find it in there.
