Anyone know how to run services only under specified users and not under others?

the answer is "its not possible".
you can not make services to run under a particular login and not under another one.
services start before you login i.e. at the time of starting of windows. you don't even need to login to get services working for you in background.Latest Microsoft Security Updates.

if you are creative you could write a .cmd file and set it so it only runs when certain users login. basically all it would be is a bunch of lines that go like this..
NET STOP "Service Name"
"Service Name" is the entire service name as it appears in Administrative tools.. services. complete with spaces and it is case sensitive I believe.
if you restrict the accounts so they can't remove the script or edit it then its becomes a pretty creative kludge..
