DCOM error?

In the event viewer of the Run command in XP I have this regular error (at least hourly)

"DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enable devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service ImapiService with arguements. "

I have no idea what this means so could someone please help out with this and let me know if it is a big problem and how to fix it?

Thanks for that, I'll just ignore it then and leave the service disabled

Thanks, IE keeps closing down and sometimes when I empty the recycle bin Explorer closes down, I thought that might have been the cause, will have to look elsewhere then
