    Hello everyone!

Everytime I log on and while my settings are loading up, I get 2 warning pop ups that say 1. shell32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. 2. kernell32.dll error
Could someone tell me what they mean and what to do to get rid of them.

    Thanks a lot

you did not mention what version of Windows you are using. even if we presume that your are using XP then is it Home or Pro. pls post what version you are using whenever you post a problem and tell us whether you have it updated or not.
    anyways...
did you scan your PC with an updated anti-virus? that shell32 might be cos of a trojan. also look into msconfig and see what all programs are starting. shell32.exe error can also occur if you have or had StyleXP but the service is not configured properly.
about kernel32.dll. go into event viewer and see what all errors are taking place. kernel32.dll errors are usually associated with an application. event viewer will tell you which application is causing this problem.
