Actually, IE 3 was indeed in existence for Windows 3.1 - it had no java or Active X Technologies.
Both of which were "WOW" factors in the Windows 95 installation.
So, it may not have seemed like the same browser, it actually was - at least in every way it could be.
The reason a diamond shines so brightly is because it has many facets which reflect light.
Thanx Mr. C, I didn't think that my memory was that bad yet (I'm nearly sure that is was 3.2 where I had to go to Win95 but I hung out till Win98 and IE 4.0). :cheers:
