What do i type in command prompt to boot from my cd rom drive

you could just go inot the BIOS and set it to boot from cd

True enough. Even if there is such a command in existence, when the system reboots it goes by the boot sequence as set within BIOS. Since a command such as this is made within Windows, there isn't any way for the system to "remember" it when the system reboots.
