These same icons keep re-appearing on my desktop all the time when I have Service Pack 2 installed, use FireFox and Run ad-aware often. Here is a screen shot below of the icons that keep on re-appearing.

How can I stop these from appearing?

I think there was a thread somewhere in here about icons reappearing in SP2. If it's an actual spyware issue, HijackThis (in my signature) should deal with whatever Ad-Aware can't.

it is indeed a sp2 problem, but we have still not fixed it yet lol, so far we have 5 reappearing quick luanch shortcuts and about 20 desktop icons lol, still cant find where they keep reappearing from! lol
