Video on my comp murdered

When I play files(.rm, .wmv, DVD whatever), i can't see the whole video. It is somewhat 'zoomed in' and I can see a zoomed in part of te video. I removed every single codec and uninstalled every video software, but still it's like that. Any idea what's wrong?

What are you using to play the videos?

Windows Media Player. But the same thing happens in any other player, RealPlayer, BSplayer.

Fixed it. Somehow, my video overlay settings were screwed up
