  • Where can I find all of the Windows XP hotfixs?

    Is there a webaddress that has all the current hotfixes and updates to be downloaded individully? I want to slipstream them all onto an updated WinXP disc?

        What exactly is autopatcher? It sounds interesting. Is this program for slipstreaming a Windows XP disc with all the updates or what? The page isn't to informative but sounds like the OS has to be preinstalled before it can do its thing.

        ANZAC_ELITE, post that corporate link. becuase I don't see such a thing listed on the Windows update page like your describing.

          Sorry Spongebob, windows update site has changed since I last went there for manual d/load, try this link and I think you'll find what you're looking for;

          http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx

          You may also find this helpful:

          this goes a long way to explaining why we couldn't find the "Corporate updates" as such:

          http://www.theeldergeek.com/windows_xp_updates.htm

          theeldrgeek.com and dougknox.com are two very handy sites that I use often, Doug has a nifty little script for removing Windows Messenger (Microsofts own little adware that reports via the Alexa trojan imbedded in XP) and lots of other top tweaks and tips. Hope this is of some help to you.

            Thanks, that first link looks like what I'm looking for, now all I have to do is sort out the hotfixs and upates that service pack 2 already has built in.

              Re: Where can I find all of the Windows XP hotfixs?

              Lol, have fun, not really an enviable task. There must be a list there somewhere as to what SP2 covers, as far as I'm aware there have only been a few security updates since SP2, so indexing them by release date would be a start.

              Cheers.

                Basically it builds a CD that you can put into a machinbe and it will automagically apply all the hot fixes for you. pretty nice tool.
