network XP to a Win2k pc

I need some assistance in networking a windows xp & and a windows 2k system together via a hub with the xp using the modem.

i've beat my brains out over this and cannot get either pc to see each other.

any info would be appreciated.

are your ip's set correctly?

do the following commands on both PC's to check their IP

start
run
cmd
ipconfig

[turn2dust]

both are clean installs. nothing was changed on them

so the XP's Ip is 192.168.0.1

i would assume so.. im not at my system at the moment
