I've been messing around with the support.microsoft.com pages but NONE of them are helping. I've been in the registry and I think I know where the issue is, but I don't know how to fix it. One of the keys is wrong, but I'm not sure what about it needs editing. It's in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run area and it has quotes around it and a forward slash, which makes it different from all the others. It looks like this in the registry:
(name)VIAO Update 2
(type)REG_SZ
(data)"C:\Program Files\Sony\VIAO Update 2\VIAOUpdate.exe" /Stationary
None of the rest have quotations around them or any forward slashes in them. Is this the problem and if so how can I fix it? Just, edit out the quotes and "/Stationary" or is there somewhere else I can go to fix that so I don't have to mess around in the registry?
