Will Vista's firewall protect a clean install while using Windows Update before installing Norton Internet Security?

So long as you have a hardware firewall and only go to to Windows Update you should be alright. Since I dont have a hardware firewall, installing Norton first will have to do. Yes, Norton is very light on resources that is one of the reasons I stopped using Zone Alarm. Thank you for your helpComment
