Installing XP Pro on desktop and laptop

Can someone please clarify to me about installing windows xp pro on two machines? I would like to install windows xp pro on my desktop and laptop. Does microsoft allow you to install the same OS (win xp pro with the same Keys) on a desktop and a laptop or do I have to purchase a new key for my lap top? I am not clear on this . Please help

hmmm, from what I remeber reading in the EULA you cannot install it on multiple machines. One computer constutes as a processor and the components with the one processor. And you can only install it on one computer. They were very specific with the definition of a computer. Sorry, that is what i remember, if you want to be 100% give the EULA a once over.
