Multiple Hardware Profiles

Hello Everyone!

Im just checking for some info, not really a problem. I have a friend who has a laptop, but needs to set it up for various hardware and network configurations. I know that there is a hardware manager for Windows, (he is running XP pro) and I just wanted to make sure it also switched Network info....

Also, does it have to be connected to all of the hardware to make the profile, or can I make them all from one place? To clarify, the laptop is in the office on a wired network, on a docking station. It needs this configuration, a undocked, wireless configuration, a undocked wired network configuration for when he is at home...etc. So can I just set each one of these guys up in the profile manager and switch at will? Just checking.
