        I use Nero & CloneCD and that's all ya should need (though sometimes when lazy after rippin' MP3's from CD's I'll use MusicMatch Jukebox). ;)

          I also use nero but find xp software easy for archiving to a cdrw.

            I don't find it necessarily easier as nero has the drag and drop windows as well. What could be easier then that? Plus you don't want easy. You want a challenge!

              A challange is doing anything in winME easy is right clicking and hitting send to g:\cdrw no effort no hassels smooth ,really cannot understand why people bag winXP cdr software pretty basic software but it never promised to save the world either.

                hey........I used it once or twice. But if anything its an annoyance. Cause it says something like "archiving files to disk image 5 minutes remaining" then it first has to burn it! Where as with nero you drag it and BAM there's your image right there it gets created as fast as YOU (the user) can click it.

                  Microsoft's own book "Windows XP Inside/Out" says that if you're adding any third-party recording software, be sure to disable Windows XP's built-in recording capabilities, which can cause conflicts with third-party software.

                      this is how you enable it or disable it.....

                      <My Computer>
                      Right Click on the Burner's Drive Letter
                      <Properties>
                      <Recording> Tab

                      Your options are right there :)
