unplug slave?

If I reformat "C" do I need to unplug my slave drive so it doesnt get messed with?

I guess that I should have asked, Does Win XP automaticly format the "C" drive?

The slave drive will be fine when reformatting the C: drive. XP will ask if you want to reformat a drive that is already formatted.
