Outlook Express......

Hi All,
I just reinstalled XP and setup outlook express but, When i compose new mail i am not able to use spellcheck. Any help?

Well,
I don't use Outlood Express but have you tried looking under options and setting MS Word as your email editor? That usually works in Outlook...not sure if Express is the same though.

Outlook Express does not allow the use of Word as the email editor like the full-blown Outlook does, but it does require you to have Word installed since that is where it gets the dictionary from.

Oh, and it must be Word 2000 or higher to work. The dictionary in Word 97 does not do the trick. I found this out the hard way and had to get Office 2000 to upgrade. Since then, I have been able to use the spell checking feature with no problems at all. :)
