Takes an eternity to close mu computer

Heres the deal: I start to close my computer but when it says : "closing windows" it takes about 40 sec to close.

Does anybody know if it's a virus och another crazy program thath does this of wtf it is.

Please help my newbie ass:cry:

Running Win Xp pro
Amd Athlon XP 2000
1.67 GHz
512 Mb DDR RAM
