how shorten start up

I just reformatted my hard drive. But now I've forgotten how to skip the windows 98 screen when I start my computer. Can someone help?

You just need to press the escape key when you see the Windows 98 Startup logo

download tweakui for windopws 98

its in one of the menus..

disable splash screen or something like that.

Find the MSDOS.SYS file in the root directory.
Remove the Read-Only attribute.
Open the file with Notepad.
To the [options] section of the file, Add the line;

Logo=0

That should keep the screen from appearing ever.
Reboot to make sure it works.
When it's all good, replace the Read-Only attribute to the file.
