XP SP1 Installed... Internet Disabled

I successfully changed my serial # (thanks guys :wave: ) and installed SP1 without a hitch.

However... I now cannot log into the internet through any of my software. The cable connection is live, it just does not let me see the internet.

Is this a security measure MS included ?
or
Did I do something wrong ?

Next, the big question, can this be fixed ?????
