How safe is Dr Web Antivirus,,??

I presently use Dr Web Antivirus, went from NAV to Dr Web.
Since then I have had concerns about how safe is this..
I have since been getting a lot of spam and various emails with the tag at the end ... ru

Any comments would be very helpful
