Windows Xp Spanish and SP1 en version

Is possible apply SP1 english version to a Windows XP pro corp spanish ? And if i do it, what happend.

it works, but after u r installed, ur system font will have both spinsh and english, also the error screen will come out quite often for any reason.

i tried installed chinese sp1 on ENglish xp.
it was fail at the 2nd time, i dont know why, but it was successed at the 1st time.
any one has any idea?
