I got an issue with the audio part of the new Extreme6 mobo:
During a game, movie or song/mp3 the sound stops for a bout 0.5 second. No pattern as to frequency of phenomenon occurring.
Weird part is: the front jack (green one) for the headphone does not suffer from this, the sound is absolutely uninterrupted!
I checked the audio equipment, since it has just been transfered to thsi system I can conclude it does not appear to be the equipment at fault.
Running the 2.52 driver fro Realtek (6.0.1.6196) on Windows 7 64 bit. Got Trusound (bundled ) installed.
It seems to me this must a hardware issue.
