  • Asrock AliveXfire-eSATA2 R3.0 and nvidia graphic card

    Hi...

I have some problems with my computer for which I can't find solution.
The problem is that all games, HD movies and also DIVX movies are lagy, jamming...
It looks like there is everything in slow motion. I have made some benchmarks but I found no solution.

Maybe it's a stupid question but.....is Asrock AliveXfire-eSATA2 R3.0 compatible with nvidia graphic cards?
I have Gainward GTS 450 GLH.

    Hi.
I had the some problem. You need to connect the small pcb adapter that came in your motherboard package.
Connect it to PCIE2/PCIE switch slot and connect the card on the other slot. This will use the slot at 16x.
Without the adapter both PCIE slots run at 8x. I could not even play GTAIV with minimum settings!
With the adapter you get 16x. Or buy another GTS 450, wich i will do and use SLI.
You will get HD gamming at low cost. Just disble Anysotropic filtering and Antialising in all games, and use max quality for everything.
