    890gx extreme4 dr. debug code

    I have just built a new system for myself here are the specs
    AMD AthlonII x4 640
    Asrock 890GX extreme4
    Corsair XMS3 2x2gb DDR3 1600mhz
    Nvidia 260GTX
    LG DVD/CD Rewriter
    Seagate 500GB 7200RPM sata HardDrive

    The problem i am having is that it wont load up the bios or boot menu just wont do anything. It did when i first turned it on i got into the bios and was at hardware monitoring page and the system froze so i turned off and on again and it wont load bios or the boot menu. I am stumped the dr. debug code it gives me is 2C and in the code list it say Initializes different devices. detects and initializes the video adapter installed in the system that have optional ROMs. Can anyone help?

    Did you find the code in manual? If it is CPU related, looks like CPU incompatibility. Sorry, no more help at this time.

      Have you done cmos clear?
      The general way to clear cmos is:
      1- Disconnect main,
      2- Press the power button once (in order to flush any remaining input capacitor charges)
      3- Either, press cmos-clear button, (or) short-circuit the related jumper, or take away the battery for an hour, whichever possible for the board.

        Dear bahram_alinezhad,

        Please kinldy refer to below suggestions for testing.
        1. Clear CMOS first to try.
        2. Reinstall the CPU, memory and VGA card to try.
        3. Install your memory to white DRAM slot.
        4. Remove your VGA card and use onboard graphic to output for testing.
        5. Leave only necessary device of your computer for testing. (CPU, a stick memory, 1HDD )
        6. If possible please change another CPU or memory for testing.

        If the problem still cannot be solved, please kindly contact your local dealer to check your system.

          General technical-support form of suggestion here?!!

          He made changes in bios and got out of boot, then, the first guess is bad settings for bios, so cmos-clear was my first suggestion.
